Im obersten Dorfteil von Vaduz beginnt danach der kurze Anstieg zur Ruine Wildschloss, deren Gemäuer aus dem 12. Jahrhundert stammen. Auf einem Wanderweg weist eine anspruchsvolle, steile und schmale Abfahrt talwärts, vorbei am so genannten Spörry-Weiher, einem künstlich angelegten Speicherbecken zur Stromerzeugung. Zu bewundern sind die Heuberghütten von Magrüel und der senkrechte Blick hinunter zum Lawenabach. An verschiedenen Stellen herrscht direkt neben der Strasse Absturzgefahr. Am Ende belohnen der rauhe Charme der Lawena, der Ausblick auf einige der schönsten Gipfel Liechtensteins sowie kühle Getränke aus der Gastwirtschaft. Vom Zentrum von Vaduz verläuft die Strecke zum hoch über dem Ort gelegenen Schloss und führt über die Triesenberger Weiler Fromahus, Rotaboda, Masescha und Gaflei bis zum Maiensäss Silum auf rund 1400 m ü. M.
